Exquisite Bridal Jewelry for the Bride, Maid of Honor, and Mother

For those of you who are readers of blog, you have figured out that I am mesmerized by tropical island paradises and the hypnotic power of the crystalline blue waters and plants and sea life than reside on in the deepest part of the ocean. I am also a fan of the most glorious of gemstones and impeccable craftsmanship as well as transformable jewelry.

What many of you don’t know is that there are many pieces in my collection that clients have been purchasing for the weddings—the groom as gifts for the bride, the bride as gifts for her maid of honor, mother, mother in law or bridesmaids. I have also been asked to design custom gemstone engagement rings based on a few of my original styles.

Here are pieces for a range of the bridal party which include something old, new, borrowed and blue…

Something Old: Our Menen Diamond 18K Gold Stud Transformable Earrings are a perfect choice as a gift for the bride when she wants to wear something close to the ear or for the mother of the bride or groom as a gift for always being in the couple’s corner. This versatile design can be worn with or without the floral outer frame.

Something New: An alternative engagement ring for the bride-to-be. It can be set with any gemstone center stone but here we set it with aquamarine. The warmth and exuberance of the Caribbean is re-imagined when set  in highly polished 18K white gold with pops of color on the shank: rubies and pink and blue sapphires. The jewel in this crown is a large oval-cut aquamarine that shimmers like the crystalline waters of the ocean under the tropical sun.

Something Borrowed—we are inspired these linear shaped earrings with round diamonds bezel set from the Art Deco period and then we add some color in blue/purple tanzanite and pear shaped pink tourmaline drops for the bride who wants to add a little color to her gown –a perfect gift for the groom to present to the bride right before her wedding day.

Something Blue: For the Maid of Honor we suggest the Juliet Tanzanite Diamond Bow Earring which evoke feminine spirit in delicate bow shapes. The fluid ribbon-like forms are studded with diamonds that sparkle against graphic 18k blackened gold, while the opulent blue-purple trillion-cut tanzanite gemstones are accented with 18k yellow gold prongs for a vibrant contrast.

Your wedding jewelry should be a reflection of your personal style and individuality —what would be most significant to you and your big day.

XoXo
